Shane grew up in the beautiful state of New Hampshire and spent his youth as a roadie, water boy and general stage nuisance in his father’s rock band. As a drummer and musical historian, Shane’s father filled the house with plentiful doses of jazz to compliment a steady diet of contemporary and classic rock.
When he landed in San Francisco in the fall of 2000, Shane truly began to develop his songwriting. Upon reuniting with old friend and consummate songwriter James Parkington, he was introduced to guitarist Billy Mungovan. The trio would spend the next few years writing and playing music for friends on both the east and west coasts.
Shane released his debut album Going My Way on Pots and Pans Records in 2005. His long-awaited second release is coming soon, and he can be seen playing in the Bay Area in 2010.
